Nduku Lizwi(Solly)
Sector Leader: Eastern Cape

Mr Solly Nduku is the THP Sector leader and Deputy Chairperson for the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC), Civil Society Forum. Mr. Nduku has a wealth of experience in traditional health practices and works in various capacities mainly in the public sector, at both decision making and strategic capacities. He has serves as a provincial chairperson for the organisation NUUPAATHPSA in the Eastern Cape and has served as a member of the SANAC Civil Society Forum representing the African Traditional Health Practitioners sector since 2009. He serves as an NEC member of the National Unitary Professional Association for African Traditional Health Practitioners in of South Africa as general secretary.

Gogo Nomangungu

Gogo Nomangungu, born Nqobile Sibisi, is the founder and Director of Sangoma Diaries (Pty) Ltd, a company offering solutions in the indigenous medicine and spirit-healing arena in kwaZulu Natal.
Sangoma Diaries also acts as a community of practice of women healers. Gogo is an umfembi, a pure mediumistic healer.  Formerly she worked as a journalist and was an international media innovation manager running a global innovation fund in Nairobi Kenya. Gogo Nomangungu was named a Mail & Guardian Young South African (MG200Young 2015) for her role in the ground-breaking open data, open democracy and data liberation movement in Africa.

Ben Mpho Rampono

Ben Mpho Rampono is a THP sector leader and a member of the provincial Covid-19. He is a provincial THP chairperson representing THP sector in SANAC CSF Nationally but also in the province.

He is a member of the school governing body at a local primary school in Nthabeleng.

Lungisile Nquma
Sector Chairperson: Eastern Cape

Lungisile Sydney Nquma is a Teacher by profession. In 1995 he stopped teaching and joined the Publishing Industry. Currently he is working as the Provincial Manager for Shuter & Shooter Publishers. Lungisile is the Traditional Health Practitioner by calling based in Eastern in a town called Makhanda under the Makana municipality – Sarah Baartman District. Lungisile is a Diviner specifically with more than 20 years of experience as a practicing THP. Lungisile is very passionate about his calling and very committed in helping the constituencies of the THPs Sector.

He is serving in couple of structures for THPs within the province including the Department of Health African Traditional Medicine (ATM) Forum.

Lukholo Mrwetyana
Sector Chairperson of THP: Western Cape

Lukholo Mrwetyana is a young person who grew up in 3 different provinces of South Africa, born in Cala in the Eastern Cape. He started his journey of a calling in 1987/88 and graduated under the leadership of the late Prof. PS Kubukeli and Mr. Andile C Tulela. He has over 14 years of experience in project management, communication, training design and facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and non-profit finance management. Not only that, but he is currently a Provincial Coordinator for the Global Fund project (GF) under CRS at NACOSA. His work focuses on Project Management, Network, Role player, Database and Membership Mapping, Networking, Advocacy, Monitoring and Evaluation, Reporting and record keeping, Organisational Ethos, Professional and Personal Development.

Kanyane Maisela
Sector Chairperson: Limpopo

Kanyane Maisela is the princess of the Maisela Dlamini clan in Limpopo. She is a Traditional Health Practitioner who did thwasa at the age of 6yrs old, a high school teaching Diploma holder who did work for the department of Education for 8yrs. Presently a full time Traditional leader for Maisela community and those under them as well as Traditional Health Practitioner.

Collins Pieter

Collin Pieter is a THP Sector leader with knowledge and years of expertise in traditional healing and traditional plants as key.

Nkomo Bonsekile Lesina
Sector Chairperson: KwaZulu-Natal

Nkomo Bonsekile Lesina is a counsellor and healing referral. She teaches, uplifts and supports people
in her community through her indigenous knowledge. She has experience mentoring about culture
and training doctorate student. Currently she holds the position of secretay at NUPAATHPSA in Kwa-
Zulu Natal and is the deputy chair of Interfaith lady Press. She is a member on a steering committee
at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal focusing on traditional health practice and a member of Freedom
Park Arts and Culture.

Thebe Mosimanegape Abednigo
Sector Chairperson: North West

Thebe Mosimanegape Abednigo has 12 years of experience and has worked as secretary for
NUPAATHPSA, following his position as secretary her became coordinator. He has worked with the
Department of Health, Phakama Organisation and is trained in matters concerning HIV, TB and STIs.
